Wow Is All I Can Say,
I have a sister and several friends that swear by the Bare Minerals make up, and I was dying to try it – I just didn’t want to pay that much for something I might not like. When I saw this set on Amazon, I thought, well, that is much less than the name brand one and you get everything you need. So, I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived while my sister was here and we had to check it out.
I have to say that I am very impressed with this make up set.
Not only does it cover everything well, the set comes with everything you could need to match to your face flawlessly. The concealer worked wonderfully under the eyes and on the few blemishes I have on my skin. You cannot tell that they were ever there! I have very light skin being a natural redhead, and there were two different “Fair” foundations in the set I ordered. While the lighter one was too light and the darker one was a bit dark, I found that I could easily mix them a bit and blend the perfect shade for me. It covers extremely well, and is so lightweight that I really cannot tell I’m wearing any make up at all. There are two different colors of blush in this set, a sparkly pink one called “Baby Face” and a darker one as well. We tried them both – and both look beautiful! Cover with the mineral veil finisher and your face looks amazing!! There are also three small eyeshadows that come with this set as well and they are all beautiful on.
For any lady out there that is considering purchasing the more expensive brand name set, I would recommend that you try this one first. Even my sister, who wears the other one, was extremely impressed and even a bit mad when I told her how much less I paid for it. Try the IQ Natural Bare Organic Minerals Make Up Set and you won’t be let down with the quality and coverage it provides.

I purchased this product and received it in a timely manner;however, immediately I was disappointed. I received this product this past Thursday and was so excited that I opened and used it right away. I washed my face put on the primer it comes with and began. I have used bareMinerals in the past and others had said this was similar, ooo how they were wrong! The make-up leaves a caked on smeared look. I tried with the brush it came with, which is the worst thing I have ever rubbed across my face, and had to start over. I began again with my brush set I kept from my bareMinerals starter kit and still the same results. It shows every pore, every line, every blemish it is simply terrible. I am 22 with fair skin and usually covering my face is easy, but this product is not quality mineral make-up. This fact is a shame because I was looking forward to cutting my cost in half. I read the bad reviews and ignored them (poor judgement on my part) because there were more than a few people satisfied, but I am baffled as to how anyone received good results. I would like to point out that I am not new to mineral make-up and I am certain as to how it should be applied. So please buyer beware! This product does offer the money back option but it truly is not worth your time or money. This make-up is simply poor quality and nothing comparable to bareMinerals. So save the time on this and head to your local Ulta to by some quality make-up.

I have seen several Natural Beauty Product Recipe Books on the market, but this is by far the best. This book is easy, comprehensive and packed with information for the novice or seasoned bodycare product maker. This book covers several different topics and areas of making natural body products.
The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Making Natural Beauty Products teaches you how to make products from scratch for your hair, face, body, feet and it even covers the subject on how to make mineral make up, lip balms and glosses.
This book has a wealth of information from the types of oils, butters and additives to use. The book also covers the subject of labeling cosmetics for sale, which is vital in the cosmetic making industry. I think this book is a must have. If you’re thinking about getting this book, you won’t be dissappointed, I guarantee you. Also don’t forget to pick up a copy of “The Idiot’s Guide for Making Natural Soaps.”

This is by far the best book on cosmetic making that I have read. I was looking for a ‘natural’ way of making my own cosmetics that had shelf life just in case I wanted to start selling the product. I can’t wait to order my supplies. I have been making cosmetics of natural skin care for many years and this is the best book I stumbled upon. And now there is a company that has a complete kit that goes with this book. Thanks for a great, easy to follow, complete cosmetic DIY.

|Great book in general, lacks recipes for darker women.,
This is a great book. It has so much for the beginner up to the advanced user. I do feel that it lacks recipes for colored women in foundations and such however in all other ways this book is a wealth of great information and recipes. I would give it 98 stars out of 100 stars…
